16 March 2017

ChargePoint Technology has today announced its new Vice President of AseptiSafe® sales for North America.

Chris Rombach, previously of ILC Dover, Pacific Ozone and Stedim Biotech (now part of Sartorius group), joins the ChargePoint Technology Inc. team and is responsible for driving the growth of AseptiSafe® aseptic transfer valve range across USA, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Chris’ previous experience spans across several manufacturing and engineering companies within the Biopharmaceutical, Bioprocessing and containment markets. With his extensive technical expertise and innovative approaches, Chris is a key addition to ChargePoint’s expanding sterile capability.

Chris Rombach commented on his new position within ChargePoint, “To be joining ChargePoint at a time when it is witnessing significant growth and investment is very exciting. Having the opportunity be part of the ChargePoint team while working with global clients to solve sterile transfer challenges with our revolutionary AseptiSafe product is something I’m really looking forward to.”

ChargePoint Technology achieved significant growth over the past three years, including 100% increase in revenue and record profits in 2016 with increased sales of its AseptiSafe® aseptic transfer valve range. This demand has continued into 2017 and subsequently fuelled the need for the expansion of its support team within North America.

Chris Eccles, CEO of ChargePoint, said “Continuing investment in our people, products and processes as well as providing a world class level of service for our customers are core to our business values. Bringing on board new team members who share these values as well as the strategic vision to grow the company globally is key to our goals. We are very pleased to have Chris on board as part of our North America team and have no doubt his extensive knowledge and industry expertise is a perfect fit for the ChargePoint business.”
