How ChargePoint Works

The ChargePoint operates according to the Split Butterfly Valve principle, with 6 simple steps to contained powder transfer:


 




    

Step 1: Dock

Locate the Passive into the Active mating the two disc faces together.

Step 2: Lock

Rotate the Active locking ring around the Passive. A mechanical interlock prevents the Passive from being removed.




  

Step 3: Open

Open the valve by rotating the ergonomic handle

Step 4: Close

Close the valve, by rotating the handle against the wrench stop- so the discs lie flat and sealed.



  

Step 5: Unlock

Press the mechanical interlock and rotate the locking ring to release the Passive.

Step 6: Undock

Remove the Passive from the Active leaving uncontaminated disc faces.
