We have an exciting opportunity to join ChargePoint Technology, in the position of Internal Aftermarket Sales Executive.   With our office based in Evansville, near Madison – you will communicate directly with our Head Office in Liverpool, UK.  We have offices across the globe in New Jersey, Boston, Belgium, Hong Kong and Germany, offering the opportunity for exposure across a truly global platform, utilising your skills and experience to add real value, as we continue to grow as a Company.

ChargePoint Technology provide Split butterfly valves & solutions in the Pharmaceutical and Chemical powder industries by combining the best-in-class products with first-rate engineering and customer support. We back this with high-quality service, support, and advice through our AfterCare team to ensure that customers receive reliable and effective solutions.

Working in partnership with our global Aftermarket Sales Co-ordinator and UK / European team of internal sales executives, you will provide customer sales support for an exciting range of products within the North American Region.  Taking responsibility for coordinating and managing your own time to ensure sales calls are prioritised and followed through to completion.

Main Responsibilities

  • Daily proactive communication and interfacing within assigned territory for sales and upselling opportunities
  • Interpretation of customer requirements and translation into a quotation response for spare parts, consumables, single-use technology, preventative maintenance services, equipment refurbishment, start-up services, product accessories, customer training and on-demand paid services.
  • Researching and analysing sales opportunities within existing customers in assigned region
  • Providing management information, including sales forecast/analysis
  • Plan, identify, prioritise and pursue activities towards achieving agreed business strategy and goals
  • Communicate and share information with the external sales and support team as related to their assigned customer base
  • Liaise with the commercial department on customer terms & conditions and payment terms
  • Manage sales opportunities through the Company’s CRM and ERP system
  • Work closely with the global Aftermarket Sales Coordinator and advise on any problems or opportunities that arise

Skills/Experience

We are looking for candidates who enjoy the varied, challenging and stimulating working environment that an expanding business brings in an ever-growing and important industry.  You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that builds customer trust and satisfaction through verbal and written communication.  Being highly organized and self-driven you will be able to work independently with minimal supervision in a supportive environment.

 

Required:

  • Degree from a Technical or Vocational School or 2/3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business account sales development within B2B manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in customer sales and quotation preparation
  • Experience in using CRM and/or ERP software (Salesforce CRM System)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages, intermediate to advanced in word and excel
  • The ability to converse at ease with customers in accurate spoken and written English is essential for the position. Additional languages would be desired, in particular spanish
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics to extract necessary technical information would be desired
