We have an exciting opportunity to join ChargePoint Technology, in the position of Product Manager (Single Use Technology), reporting into the Head of Product Management and Marketing. The role of the Product Manager (PM) involves guiding the activities charged with the assigned product line contribution.  The PM will manage all product development of assigned production sector, as agreed by the Head of Product Management and Marketing and will report on the progress of assigned strategies and objectives.

The PM will aid the development of new and developed versions of existing, assigned products and the development of new product ideas based on the PM’s experience and interactions with customers, prospective customers, ChargePoint’s application and engineering solutions team and sales.

This role will work closely with the marketing department to determine the best marketing strategies, product positioning, as well as target customer advice.  In addition, the PM will also serve as an internal and external champion for our products.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Product Line Lifecycle – responsible for managing the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical positioning for existing and future products.
  • Collaboration – the PM will work cross-functionally across the business, interacting with our application & engineering solutions, engineering, marketing, sales and commercial departments. The PM will develop strong relationships between these departments to allow for smooth and efficient flow of product activities, whilst meeting our customers needs and resolving any issues.
  • Product/ Market Analysis – the PM regularly performs competitive pricing and profitability analysis, which are used to recommend strategies that will improve the assigned product’s market position, enable cost reduction and improve quality over product competition.
  • Product Pricing and Strategies – in conjunction with the Head of Product Management and Marketing and the commercial department, the PM will develop pricing and product positioning strategies, ensuring the translation into tangible results.
  • Product Strategy – the PM will take responsibility for the set up of a product’s strategy, influencing at all levels, and aligning with the company’s strategy
  • Product Marketing/ Promotion – the PM will develop and promote a company-wide marketing plan for the assigned production and will launch and promote the core functionalities, benefits and value and will attend trade shows to represent the product and our business.


  • Minimum 5 years working in a Product Management oriented role or related commercial/technical position.
  • Degree level qualification in a technical or commercial discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical industry or with industrial products or machinery would be an advantage.
  • The ability to understand complex problems and distil them into clear requirements, solutions and value propositions.
  • Demonstrate a commercial understanding of pricing, marketing international business development with large multinational manufacturers.
  • A track record of excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage and communicate data and information with clarity.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to listen and communicate to colleagues and stakeholders at all levels to sell your vision and business impact.
