We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join us at ChargePoint Technology Ltd in the position of Quality Technician.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in a technical/ engineering/ manufacturing environment
  • Good working knowledge of quality systems
  • Experience working within the guidelines of ISO 9001:2015 or similar
  • Experienced with a good working knowledge on non-conformance management
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Driven to succeed with a can-do attitude
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Competent informed decision making
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance of the Internal Audit Programme and report on the findings for major quality standards, ensuring suitable corrective actions are taken
  • Completion of customer technical documentation when required.
  • Ensure that all reported problems are identified where possible on-receipt or in a timely manner, fully considered by all necessary parties and appropriate actions are assigned, both internally and externally.
  • To ensure that the safety of products is implemented, monitored, and maintained throughout the factory
  • Maintain documentation for the purpose of suitability auditing
  • Engage in the maintaining of equipment and calibration with internal departments
  • Working with the quality manager in ensuring quality control policies and procedures are reviewed and updated.
  • To effectively work and communicate with the Technical and Engineering Teams and production operatives to continuously improve standards
  • To assist on the maintenance and reporting of quality events, ensuring actions are taken and the quality events are closed out correctly and in a timely manner
  • Working with the quality team looking for areas where the QMS systems can be improved and made more efficient
  • Aiding in investigations of customer complaints to achieve effective corrective actions are implemented and reported on
  • Inspection of raw materials and components to ensure consistency and integrity when required
  • Conducting Environmental monitoring program
  • Report problems or concerns immediately to management

 

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels within the business. It is essential that you have a high attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.  With good problem-solving skills, you will be approachable with the ability to work on your own initiative.  Being highly organised you will adapt readily to changing circumstances and have a flexible attitude to work.

Working hours

Monday to Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm (Office Based, Potentially with some flexibility of WFH)

Friday 8am – 2pm
