Role Purpose

Provide 1st Line support to all staff with computer issues and problems. Manage and support the company’s computer infrastructure that underpins digital services. Assist ensuring computer infrastructure and staff access levels provides the best cyber security defenses and meets best practices and Cyber Essentials Plus certification. Assist monitoring of computer infrastructure via third party tools (SIEM), investigate and troubleshoot problems. Assist company and team delivering long term digital projects. Provide training and guidance to staff and team members.  Maintaining up to date documentation for all IT services and changes.

Main Duties

  • Computer maintenance and repairs
  • Maintaining system security and system file management
  • Administering Cyber Security Products and implementing best practices
  • Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure administration
  • Install and rebuild client devices (laptops, iPads), configure services, settings in accordance with standards and business/operational requirements
  • Perform daily IT Helpdesk monitoring
  • Resolve issues with end users’ email, shared files and internal applications ensuring that these are adequately addressed and resolved
  • Create new accounts for users, delete accounts, reinitialize password accounts and specify responsibilities as per superior’s instructions and established policies and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and proven record of accomplishment in supporting users with 1st Line issues

Skills and Experience

  • 1+ years relevant experience within an IT role
  • Networking experience VLAN, DHCP, DNS.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and Server OS
  • IT systems and infrastructure environment maintenance
  • IT system administration of users, service accounts
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Intune and cloud-based administration

Qualifications

Desirable

  • Microsoft Certified Professional certification or CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA level professional qualification relating to client technologies (Windows 10,11)
