When completing a contact form, resource download or newsletter sign up form on our website we collect the personal information you provide. If you opt-in to receive company communications when completing these forms, you will be added to our company marketing mailing list. As part of this list you will receive communications that are appropriate to your area of work including product updates, company updates, technical articles, whitepapers, notifications of industry events and any other product related information applicable to your business.
If you do not opt-in for communications when completing a form, we will still collect your personal data to enable us to process your original request, quote or general enquiry. This information will be securely stored on our customer database, so we can contact you to ensure you have all the information you require. Your data will be stored for up to 3 years in our database, when we will contact you to see if ChargePoint is still of interest to you. We don’t rent or trade email lists or contact information with other organisations or businesses.
Your information may be shared with our contracted agents and distributors in your country of business for the purpose of the information you have requested to ensure the response you receive is in a language you understand and of a timely response.
We use a third-party provider, Salesforce Pardot, to deliver our newsletters and company/product updates. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our communications to you. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing marketing@thechargepoint.com requesting to unsubscribe.
