Reporting to the Stores Team Leader, the Stores Picker will be responsible for managing all the picking activities for our production team and ensure stock accuracy.

 

MAIN DUTIES

  • Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required.
  • Ensure picking accuracy of 98% to all production orders.
  • Ensure works orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the job correctly.
  • Maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations are always correct.
  • Participate and support in planned stock takes.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role of Stores Picker.

 

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Must be able to work independently and make decisions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to use your own initiative.
  • Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (e.g. proficient in Microsoft Office, 1-2 years relevant experience etc)

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft
  • No experience needed full training provided, ideally for a school leaver or someone looking for a career in warehousing.
  • Good level of English verbal and written

 

QUALIFICATIONS (e.g. GCSE in Maths and English, Degree, Professional Membership etc)

  • GCSE, Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
