Role Purpose
The Internal Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing inbound and outbound sales activity, and maintaining strong relationships with existing business clients.
The role focuses on supporting business growth with our existing customers opportunities and closing sales in alignment with the company targets and is key to driving revenue growth by identifying, nurturing, and converting business opportunities through remote engagement channels.
Internal Sales Executives serves as a key link between the company and its business customers delivering tailored solutions, maintaining strong relationships, and supporting the external sales team to maximize customer satisfaction and commercial success.
Main Duties
Perform all customer support duties and responsibilities relating to ChargePoint Technology customer services aftercare products and services including:
- Day to day proactive communication and interfacing within assigned territory for sales opportunities and up selling opportunities. Acting promptly to all enquiries and maintaining communication at regular intervals.
- Interpret customer requirements and translate into a quotation response
- The selling and preparation of quotations for AfterCare:
– Spare Parts
– Consumables
– Single Use technology (Containers/Bags and Valves).
– Preventive maintenance services to contract customers
– On-demand corrective, emergency, and paid services
– Equipment refurbishment
– Start-up services, installation/commissioning.
– Customer training on equipment and maintenance operations
– Product accessories
- Promote parts orders, provide recommended parts lists to clients, and recommend inventory stocking levels to customers as required
- Initiated periodic customer care visits to monitor product performance and customer satisfaction
- Researching and analysing sales opportunities with existing customers in assigned region
- Manage sales opportunities and customers through the Company’s CRM & ERP system
- Liaise with the Commercial Department on customer terms & Conditions and payments terms.
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information including sales forecast/analysis
- Attend internal order review meetings to aid business development and monitor sales orders
- Plan, identify, prioritise, & pursue activities towards achieving agreed business strategy & aims
- Advise Aftermarket global sales co-ordinator of any problems or opportunities that arise
- Ensure that required administrative paperwork is completed and processed in a timely manner
- Communicate & share information with external sales & support as it relates to their assigned customer base
- Attend required training programs to keep current on product and solutions updates

Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in internal/B2B sales, preferably within manufacturing industry and a solid understanding of sales processes and techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills (customer relationship skills) and communication skills that builds customer’s trust and satisfaction trough verbal and written communication
- Experience in preparing quotes, proposals, and closing deals.
- Experience using CRM and/or ERP software would be preferred (Salesforce CRM system)
- PC Computer software literate/Windows Application experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics to extract necessary technical information (desirable but not essential)
- Comfortable working to KPIs and performance metrics.
- Must be a self-starter, well organised, and be able to work independently without supervision.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (required).
- A-levels, NVQ in Sales, or a business-related qualification (preferred).
- Sales training (advantageous).
