Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Update
Given the currently evolving global situation in relation to Covid-19 (Coronavirus), and the importance of our products and services in supplying the pharma and biopharma industry, as part of our risk mitigation planning we evaluated our supply chain, and as at 17th March 2020 can confirm that we currently have minimal risk in fulfilling customer requirements. Given the evolving nature of Covid-19 we will continue to monitor the situation with our supply chain and provide updates accordingly.
We do hold sufficient stock in the UK of critical spare parts and consumable items for our global customer base. We recommend that customers ensure their critical stock levels are maintained, in order to mitigate any situation whereby issues with freight and air cargo beyond our control impact upon the supply chain.
In addition to our supply chain assurance, to protect our employees and operations we have taken the following steps:
- Restriction of visitor access to our facility and outbound meetings until further notice;
- UK based mobile workers have been informed to work from their home bases until further notice;
- UK based office workers are where possible working from their home bases until further notice;
- Communicated to all employees and reminded them of good practice in relation to coronavirus, distancing, and reinforced our current policies and practice in relation to personal hygiene;
- Increased the level of sanitization stock held at our facility;
- Continue to update the advice given to employees in line with the latest UK Government guidelines;
- Utilising video conferencing and mobile communication technology as much as possible to support our customers;
Please be assured that we are focussed on working with our customers through this difficult global situation, to ensure the health and wellbeing of the population at large. As the global and UK Government advice changes, so will our actions and responses as an organisation, we aim to keep our customers and partners informed as changes occur.
