ChargePoint Technology’s New A&SE Department to Enhance Customer Experience

25 November, 2021 | ChargePoint Technology

ChargePoint Technology has unveiled a new A&SE (Applications and Solutions Engineering) department to support the sales and commercial team in enhancing the customer purchasing experience. Michael Avraam will lead the department with help from Michael Parker and David Moran to drive the sales and engineering teams to collaborate even more effectively during the enquiry process with  customers.

The A&SE department will work with the sales team and the customer earlier in the initial process, guiding both parties to a solution that meets the customer’s requirements. The introduction of the A&SE team will allow technical and engineering specialists to be involved with customers nearer to the point of enquiry, providing them with expert support in developing and recommending bespoke solutions to each requirement. The new department will minimise lead times and streamline post-sales support requirements.

Michael Avraam has been appointed as Director of Applications and Solutions Engineering in the A&SE department. As part of Avraam’s role  and with the team’s support, he will lead sales and engineering during projects and help to develop new processes that will improve the customer experience.

Michael Parker will act as the Applications & Solutions Engineering Manager for the team. Parker will ensure that products meet requirements for specific ratings and accreditations and will manage bespoke product requirements with the Development Engineering team and 3rd party providers.

David Moran has taken on the role of Applications & Solutions Technical Engineer, providing virtual and on-site support  along with the management of containment testing activities. He will support the Sales & Commercial teams throughout the customer enquiry process and manage the loan and demonstration equipment for OEMs and customers.
