VERIFi, an intelligent monitoring platform, communicates vital equipment performance data to help maximise the reliability, safety and profitability of the facility and its processes. The VERIFi Hub is located directly on the valve installation to collect data and visually indicate the parameters under which the valve is operating. This alerts the operator to conditions which could compromise process integrity.
Spare part/consumables replacement often occurs as a reactive process, meaning the process has to be stopped and this causes disruption and expensive process downtime. VERIFi will help manufacturers to proactively manage their maintenance programmes, thereby increasing plant efficiency and reducing losses from product contamination. It will also ensure that the containment/sterile equipment is operating at optimal levels, eliminating the risk to operations personnel from exposure to active ingredients and the powder from contamination.
The VERIFi Hub synchronises wirelessly with the secure VERIFi portal which stores and displays the data on a user-friendly dashboard. Multiple installations can be monitored simultaneously and the platform can be configured to send alerts directly to production and maintenance personnel when further actions need to be taken. This intuitive platform requires minimal physical interaction and fits seamlessly into the day to day operational and maintenance aspects of the process.
With more companies looking to collect meaningful process data in electronic format for regulatory compliance; VERIFi, if used in conjunction with the online portal, will generate key metrics for use in this audit process. More fundamentally it will provide the facility’s maintenance, Health and Safety and quality personnel with key data to enable them to make informed decisions, thereby helping to improve efficiency, reducing downtime and minimise risk to employees.
