Product information

ChargePoint’s ChargeBag® QF is a single-use bag for pharmaceutical ingredients that is cost-effective and convenient for handling, storing, and transferring biopharmaceutical and chemical powders.

The ChargeBag QF features a large ‘full diameter’ top-opening for fast filling and easy fine-tuning of target weight whilst reducing the risk of spillage and waste, along with risks associated with cross contamination and eliminating the time and expense associated with cleaning and validation.

In addition, its top-opening features and flexible skirt protect the main bag chamber and filling stand from external contamination during the filling process, reducing clean-up time.

Each ChargeBag® QF is manufactured with high levels of quality control within an ISO6 cleanroom environment so is ideally suited for use in GMP manufacturing facilities and can also be optionally provided gamma irradiated for fruther bioburden control. Each ChargeBag® QF is 100% pressure decay tested to ensure integrity and supplied gamma sterilised ready to use in aseptic and many other cGMP manufacturing facilities.

The single-use ChargeBag® QF is made with HiPureTM ULP7, a pharma-ready LLDPE film. HiPureTM ULP7 is manufactured with extremely high levels of integrity related to regulatory qualification and robustness, with excellent mechanical strength and anti-static properties that provide both performance and purity for the safety of products and personnel.

The bag has been comprehensively qualified according to the most rigorous chemical, biological and physical compliance standards. It delivers a well-rounded data profile characteristic of various products and process conditions.

The ChargeBag® QF is also available in different volumes up to 55L The convenient triclamp interface, which acts as a discharge port with a long neck design, allows fast implementation in a customer process and easy docking during the discharge process.

A permanent, non-migrating, anti-static additive ensures that even cohesive powders can be recovered effectively from each transfer with minimal hold-up.

The bag’s pliable, transparent characteristics allow for physical manipulation of difficult powders and visual confirmation while maintaining its physical integrity.

The large top-opening target provides operators with clear access to the bag volume, allowing rapid filling and ease of weight removal or adjustment as required if overfilled. In addition, it reduces the possibility of spillage and waste.

The skirt design protects the main bag chamber and the filling stand from contamination. Its long neck design on the discharge port enables easy docking during the discharge process.

Quick Fill is suitable for pharmaceutical applications with the relevant material certifications.
